git-man software package provides fast, scalable, distributed revision control system (manual pages), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git-man
git-man is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git-man package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-man *
You will get with git-man package name, version, architecture and description in a table
